What is special about this tool?
The piece of marble that became this tools was sourced by me in the coastal mountains in the Tuscan region. Each tool is hand carved and hand polished using only water and ten steps polishing by a talented Sculptor in Italy. This is a traditional and old way of working with stone without using any chemicals or equipment. It is a long process that was lost by most. True sculptors believe it is the only way to preserve the spirit of the stone. Today’s market offers mass-produced, machine-made tools quickly polished with chemicals.
Why marble?
